Pick a color, then tap inside any shape to fill it. Use the brush for the open areas and the eraser to take color back off.

About this coloring page

A tall candy cane hooks over at the top, with diagonal stripes running down its length. Two pointed holly leaves and a small cluster of three round berries sit near the hook, and a two-loop bow floats just below them. A sparkle shines in the lower corner.

The diagonal stripes are narrow bands that take care to color neatly. Near the hook, the holly leaves overlap the cane, so kids may want to color the leaves first and then fill in the cane around them.

Color ideas

  • Color every other stripe on the candy cane red and leave the rest white.
  • Make the holly leaves dark green and the three berries bright red.
  • Color the bow a soft green or gold so it stands apart from the red berries.

Did you know?

  • The earliest candy canes were plain white. Red stripes became common around the early 1900s.
  • Only female holly plants grow berries, and the berries are not safe for people or pets to eat.

Try this

Make a striped pattern by twisting a red and a white pipe cleaner together, then bend the top into a hook to match the candy cane in the drawing.
