Cars & Trucks Coloring Pages
This set gathers the vehicles kids point at from the car window: a pickup on a road trip, a yellow school bus, a fire engine with its ladder, a police car, a farm tractor and a chunky digger, plus a race car, a monster truck, a dump truck and an ice cream van. Every drawing is a side view with thick outlines and big wheels, so even small hands can stay inside the lines.
Most pages are easy enough for preschoolers, while the fire engine, tractor, digger and ice cream van add a few smaller parts for older kids. They make a natural starting point for talking about jobs and helpers: who drives a fire engine, what a digger is for, why a school bus is painted such a bright color.
Many of the drawings sit on a road with dashed lane markings, which gives children a ready-made ground to color and a chance to add their own scenery around it.

Tips for coloring cars & trucks
- Color the windows a pale blue or gray, then leave a thin white streak running corner to corner. That little gap of white paper makes the window look like shiny glass.
- Talk about real-world colors before starting: school buses are yellow, many fire engines are red and police cars are often black and white. Then let your child decide whether to match them or invent a new paint job.
- Do the tires last with a black or dark gray crayon, pressing hard on the outer ring and lightly on the hub, so the wheels look round instead of flat.
- Fill the road with gray, but skip the dashed lane lines or color them yellow or white, so the road reads clearly even on a busy page.
