Christmas Coloring Pages
This holiday set has a decorated Christmas tree, a jolly snowman, Santa's face, a reindeer, a gingerbread man, a stocking, a wreath, a candy cane with holly, a bauble and a snow globe. They are drawn with bold, rounded outlines and plenty of open space, so most of them suit young children, while the wreath and candy cane have tighter spaces for older ones.
These pages are handy through the whole holiday season: as a quiet activity on a busy afternoon, as handmade cards for grandparents or as paper decorations to hang on a door or window. A finished snowman or bauble cut out along its outline makes a simple ornament.
Many of the subjects come with long histories, from evergreen trees brought indoors in Germany to the legend of Saint Nicholas, and the facts on each page give you a short story to share while you color.

Tips for coloring christmas
- Red, green, white and gold are the classic Christmas colors, but silver, icy blue and purple look lovely too. Choose a small palette of three or four colors so the page feels festive and not crowded.
- On white things like snow, beards and frosting, leave most of the paper white and add a light touch of pale blue or gray along one edge. That shadow makes the white shapes look round.
- For a sparkling effect on stars and ornaments, color them yellow first, then add a light layer of orange on one side.
- If the page will be hung as a decoration, color all the way to the outlines so it looks neat once cut out.
