About this coloring page
A round, cheerful dragon faces forward with two pointed horns, dot eyes and a wide smile showing two little fangs. Its tummy is a big circle crossed by three curved stripes, a leaf-shaped wing sticks out on each side, and a curly tail loops off to the right.
With only a few large shapes and no tiny gaps, this page works well for a very young child. The stripes split the tummy into four bands, a natural place to try a simple color pattern.
Color ideas
- Color the four tummy bands in alternating yellow and orange, a classic look for a dragon's belly.
- Make the leaf-shaped wings a lighter shade of the body color, or give them a bold contrast, such as purple wings on a green dragon.
- Fill the two pointed horns with cream or tan and leave the little fangs white.
